A Dogs Breakfast - Windsor

Amazingly delicious food. Try the lavender Pancakes, trust me!! The people that work there are super friendly and professional!! EDIT(Feb 26/22). Eggs were raw and slimy, fries were rubbery and when mentioned to the waitress she offered no solution other than to apologize. When we were there a week earlier I couldn't even cut my avocado with a knife and it was so unripe that the skin wouldn't even come off of the Flesh of the fruit. This used to be our favourite place. We decided today that we'll never be returning unfortunately.

Went to the downtown market and decided to try this restaurant as I have never been before. It was busy but there were a few available and cleaned tables. The two of us were in line behind another couple and as we all stood there waiting to be seated the waitress walked by with no acknowledgment that customers were waiting to be seated, she did not even say that someone would be with us shortly. Well after standing there awhile longer waiting and still being ignored we finally decided to leave. I stopped to make a purchase with a market vendor and noticed as I walked by the restaurant again that the same couple ahead of us were still waiting to be seated. Luckily we found another restaurant close by who actually acknowledge customers. Update to review. In response to feedback from restaurant in response to my rating. I do realize there is a please wait to be seated sign but as stated it only takes a second for the waitress to acknowledge guest as she is walking by. I understand that tables may be held for reservations and there may be a wait which I have no issue with but I was comparing my experience to other restaurants where while waiting we were told that someone would be with us shortly and even the amount of wait time we could expect and they also had a please wait to be seated sign. If customers are standing there waiting for a period of time it would be nice for some form of communication from staff. My rating star was based on customer service only as I did not eat there so I can't rate anything else about the establishment.

Nice to come here. They did a great job to make the atmosphere cozy and picturesque. The decor is beautiful, they have soft Christmas music in the background that gives you a beautiful holiday feeling. You could hear the water from the grill. The food and drinks are also really good. I had the monsieur and I don't know what they put in the bread, but it tastes amazing. It has a fine delicate sweet taste that I never tasted in bread, but the sandwich was so complicated. My partner had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was also great. I regret not getting the eggs of Benny now, as I see they are known for it. Will definitely return to Windsor next time!

Nice, quiet, quiet Nook and an amazing way to spend the morning breakfast or lunch brunch. Fantastic meals!!! Eggs Benedict or eggs The way you like! Lightly encrusted chicken, or steak with pancake, It's all great!!! This is definitely the best place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch. It is within walking distance from all downtown hotels including Ceasars Windsor. This restaurant is a few steps from downtown Core that give the feeling of old Havana, especially on a humid day. The outside seat offers a light break to make you feel fresh.

This was a clean, modern and high quality place for a breakfast. In addition to a smaller inner area (with a wall that opens to the outside), they have a very large terrace. They had appropriate portion sizes and well developed flavors. Definitely worth the stop when you get a chance!
