Castaneda's - Windsor

This is a good get food, breakfast, lunch or dinner, and find ingredients and products that you may not find elsewhere. For example, they almost always have the small net pockets with these perfect avocados. I like to make salsa verde and they always have enough green tomatoes. The deli has fresh salsas and cooked chickens. Great meat recipes (also I am vegan I can see it is good quality), beautiful postres too. Very good prices for everything. It is fun to take a meal there and the chefs will customize for my vegan preferences. It is also beautiful that the owner Jose Castaneda is often on site. Checkout staff are completely bilingual and tolerate me to practice Spanish when I check out. Great recommendation.

Burritos are great here getting breakfast Burrito all day, chicken is a good supplement if you are not hungry for breakfast, but want a delicious burrito. Also recommend the carnitas quesadilla if you are looking to mix it! You can eat there or get rid of it. Great prices and many other things in stock; Beer, wine, food and an amazing selection of Mexican bakery products.

Love this place! The food is delicious and staff are so friendly. There are interior seats and so many options on the menu. I wish I lived Closer, I would try something new every day.

This is my favorite Mexican grocery store in Sonoma County. The girls on the front are super friendly and sweet. The food in her restaurant is delicious. Love her veggie burritos. I like to get fresh fruits like Papaya and Avocados. And things like Masa, which is harder to find in regular shops. I go out my way to get the $1.25 Mexico ice cream bars... many flavors...yum! They are always in stock in store, and it is clean and well organized. Easy parking in front. Thank you for your business!

The best Mexican market I have ever been to been too. The pride of ownership shows. From the time you walk in the store and are greeted by the staff and owner Jose.. What a story about Jose's passion to create this gatheringplace. From microchips to tortilla chips.. The food selection is fantastic. From a fresh meats selection, dry goods to the fresh baked goods to the freshly baked cooked breakfast . Do yourself a favor and order the breakfast burrito. You won't ever be disappointed. It's large enough to feed 2 people easily. If you don't visit this place? You are doing yourself a disservice when you're in the town of Windsor.
