Caleys Brasserie - Windsor

The waiting staff was very pleasant, but there was a new lady (2nd day) and she was very nice, but a little overboard and we found the service a little over Powering. we were the only people for afternoon tea, it would have been more beautiful if there were more customers in the restaurant, although this is not a fault of the hotel. There was no music we could hear to add the ambience. Also for payment £30.00 and with 1 round sandwiches for two people was a little disappointing along with the bought in cakes (brakes). I think I expected a little more.

What an absolutely wonderful time we had on Saturday afternoon for our special occasions of my husband and his twins 60. Birthdays and our daughters 18th birthday. Food was fabulous and the staff was amazing. Very recommended.

Really disappointing afternoon tea. We were the only people in the big restaurant. We were greeted by a beautiful waitress who unfortunately ended her shift. Scones were in order six scone still only two small pots of jam. Sandwiches were fine. The cakes were basically the same. No pastries, tars or medals. All little sponge cakes. At 30 pounds, I would have expected much better quality. Toilets were ghasty. Every cubic was dirty and looked like it wasn't cleaned for a week! It's supposed to be a highly rated hotel again, you would have expected the toilets to be monitored and we're repeating the only people there! The only employee we saw was the one we paid, who was new and couldn't get any help. MacDonald Hotel Windsor you need to be much better.
