The server arrived shortly and took our order. My wife ordered the club sandwich and I had the deluxe burger. It took longer than expected for the meals to arrive, about 20 minutes. But when they did arrive, they were both tasty. The plates came with more fry’s than either of us could handle. Bottom line; the food was good, the service was good.
Lisa’s had a homey ambience with great service, exactly what we were looking for. Home cooked meals, we had the soup of the day and lasagna. Very good pricing.
This fantastic family-friendly restaurant offers a superb selection of fried seafood, burgers, and delicious pies for dessert. The seafood platter is a standout dish and earns this restaurant a top spot on my list of must-visit eateries in Nova Scotia!
We ate at this restaurant for lunch last week and the food was fantastic, but the service was outstanding. The highlight was definitely the dessert and coffee. Both the homemade peanut butter pie and coconut cream pie were delicious. We plan on trying more desserts from their menu in the future. It's recommended to arrive before 12:15 for lunch as this place gets busy quickly. The prices are also very reasonable.
On our way to halifax today we took a chance to stop outside the city for lunch. Never being here before; we werent sure what to expect. First impressions is that its so clean and has a great atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful. My mom and i had the special which was beans and fish cakes. Probably the best fish cakes ive had. My husband and dad got the clam and scallop platters. Both were equally impressed. This will definitely be a go go place for us. Thank you!
