The Magnolia Place - Winder

I visited this old restaurant on a rainy day, and didn't have high expectations. However, once I tried the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and lima beans, I was truly impressed. The flavors were well-balanced, allowing me to enjoy the vegetables and beans without being overwhelmed by salt. The gravy from the steak was also extremely delicious. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

The food was quite unappetizing. There was a lack of fresh vegetables, and those served tasted like they came straight from a can. Everything was bland with no flavor. The mashed potatoes were powdered and too watery, and the gravy was also thin. The chicken tenders and mac and cheese were decent, as well as the biscuits. The only highlight was the banana pudding, which was enjoyable. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Incredible food and outstanding service! Parking is convenient with a large lot available out front.

What a hidden gem. Enjoyed the food and the sweet server to sit my family. I felt at ease, the food was delicious, and the kids had a good meal. Thank you for your hospitality tonight. We will be back again!

The food is great but the room where you get the food is just a wee bit too small and there's only one way in and out !! Other than that its great
