Second visit at the Ivy Winchester and once again very impressed. Great service and great food. Very good value for money. Well looked after. Thanks to the chefs for cooking us a great meal. Also thanks for the birthday tread. Will come again.

Excellent all round. Our waiter was an extremely personable young man named Louis. Service and food second to nine.

Steak was very tough and cod lacked flavour, neither was very hot when it arrived and what was promised as a special meal was very disappointing. The prices were very high which was expected but the potions were small with plates full of garnish rather than food.

Lovely decor. Personally prefer the lunch menu. Overall very pricey for what you get and drinks are ridiculously expensive. Service charge of 12.5% is automatically added and is high in our opinion we chose to reduce it to 10%. The service was decent but no more than you’d expect anywhere. I’m not sure we’d go back for an evening meal although lunch might still be an option.
