Excellent friendly and professional staff . nice eating in a great atmosphere.

Excellent and so a shame that it closes. Hopefully this will be reversed as demand is definitive there and this energy crisis will soon come to an end, as it is all a lot of hot air!

Very enjoyed our first visit in the black rat. the greeting was warm and personal then always available and happy to help. the menu was interesting and varied and all the dishes we selected were of excellent quality.

Good good if slightly over priced given some of the other restaurants in the area.

Sadly the last of many memorable meals at this innovative restaurant. Wishing all the staff every success in their next ventures.
