Contribuiți la feedbackFantastic day out. All the staff were really friendly, especially Elenor. The animals look so happy and relaxed. We stayed all day, it was great!
Our first major trip out with our granddaughter,a lot of preparation and money for a disappointing morning, when I say morning,we left and went back home,4 penguins in there inclosure, many of the enclosures empty, resembled a building site,me and my partner are scratching our heads wondering where these contributions are going to within the zoo, barely saw any of the main zoo animals,I can understand if they had black or brown bears that hibernate through most of the year, but entrance prices should reflect visit times and what you are likely to see on the day, will head to the midlands next time and visit a proper zoo,and at a cheaper entrance price, and stay in the midlands over night, free of charge(family),overall ,very disappointed with marwell zoo
What happened to Marwell? Used visit all the time but it was become unkept lots of empty run down exhibits.. what happened to all the animals half the cages seemed empty and where did the Farm petting Zoo go??
Disappointing trip. Took my daughter for her 9th birthday having been many times before. Penguins were closed, reptile house still closed, many empty exhibits. Didn't see red pandas, sloth, leopards and many more. I accept that zoo's can't make animals be out, but you do expect to see animals at a zoo. Really expensive for what we saw. Saving grace were the rhinos, tiger and giraffes. On the day we went our children saw kids with face painting and posters for events at the hall. Got to the hall and realised it was a private event for John Lewis partnership day, explains why it was so busy. So more disappointment for the children. The train is also chargeable so ruled that out. I've been to Marwell many times and this was a disappointing trip and I don't think we'll be back any time soon.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The lighting displays were haphazard and some were even of lower quality than what I've seen in my neighbors' gardens. Despite signs warning against using flashlights on the trail, certain areas were dangerously dark. There was no ambiance at all, no background music to enhance the experience or to consider the animals. I had attended the Glow event at Wisley gardens the previous year for the same price, and it was a stunning experience in comparison. It was a complete waste of money, and we left within 45 minutes. When I shared my feedback with the Customer Relations team, I received a very disinterested response after two messages. I would recommend avoiding this place and going to Wisley instead.
