Valerie Hill Vineyard Winery

My man, his niece and her man and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visit and tasting today. the personal was friendly, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. the plot, the gardens and the house is beautiful and relaxing. the jewel in the crown of the weingute is the amazingly well preserved herren house. had not met any ghost (the house is praised), but met some nice people who also enjoy the wee and the beautiful weather. this is a place where I will bring friends and visitors to the future.

5/5 experience! General manager Josh was great.. gave us a run down of all the wines in detail. The wines were some of the best I had in this area, and appealed to my tastes (and liked some things I normally wouldn’t) meat and cheese boards were great, along with the bread. Thankful to have that one on one time with him, I recommend if you’re a first timer come on the week day because it’s less busy. Will definitely be back!

We visited Valerie Hill during the middle of the day, so we did not get to experience the live music. However, the winery is on a beautiful piece of land surrounded by the Vineyards. The staff was friendly, they had some very good food options, and the wines were fresh and true to their taste. We enjoyed sitting out at one of their many yard tables, adjacent to the Vineyard. We spent a few hours just sipping and taking in the views. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and had an amazingly relaxing day. Absolutely recommend and will be back!

Valerie Hill is a fantastic winery located in a historic home built in 1807 and surrounding farm area. Great wines and food including Adult grill cheese and tomato soup , which was delicious! Winery manager and local wine expert Josh was super helpful showcasing testings and available wines and also adding to the positive vibe that goes with this place. Great live music from local musicians on Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday afternoons and plenty of great places in the house to enjoy wines including a upstairs and downstairs living room and two bar areas on the first floor. Outside seating area in the backyard of the house perfect for sunshine and and a Valerie Hill cheese plate. Join the wine club and become a regular or stop by for an afternoon of fun with friends and great food and wine....you will be happy you did! One quick summer update new huge outdoor tent and deck area is now being used for live music on beautiful summer and warm days!

Great historic building, great customer service and really good wines. Also the tasting is a good value considering number of wines tasted for the cost, bottle of water offered, crackers. Highly recommend!
