We were driving through Winchester on our way home to Michigan. Passed by Taqueria Guadalajara and decided to try it for dinner. Best decision we made the whole trip. The food was exceptional. Everything we ate was so good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

It isn't often you find a restaurant that pays so much attention to all the elements of a meal. From the drink before to the dessert after, each entree and each side were carefully crafted. Seriously, how often are refried beans actually tasty? We started with chips and dips, the traditional. Pretty sure the dip was made in-house. There aren't any bottled sauces that I've had like it. The enchiladas Verdes were perfect. The tortillas were substantive enough to hold together while cutting them apart but not chewy or rubbery. The chicken was tender and moist. The Verde sauce had a perfect tomatillo tang to it. The refried beans were smooth and had a good pinto tooth to them. The Mexican rice was fluffy, with some kind of herb and kernels of corn mixed in. I've never before had tres leches cake that was worth eating, but after a meal like that you take the chance. The sponge was moist and flavorful, and you could eat the frosting out of a bowl. This is an exceptional restaurant. There were no shortcuts taken with anything we had here. I definitely recommend it.
