Real customer here: eating is soou good! server are friendly and so attentive, even if their business is booming! everyone I know was loves it here, and I too!
My husband and I love this place. What a refreshing, cozy, and happy place this is. The owner Ross has put his heart and soul into this cute place. The food is not only great, but the experience of the warm welcome is enough in itself. I’m so shocked at the bad reviews, I feel they must be lonely and Disgruntled. It’s hard to know what people are liking for, this is it fir us. It’s wonderful finally having a nice neighborhood “go to” and know you will receive a good, hearty home cooked meal. We will continue to return over and over.
I went in to eat and when I ordered I sat down and waited for my food. Lady gave me a Togo bag and never offered me anything to drink until after I was just going to take it and leave. I sat outside in my car and ate. The food was good but I ordered a cornbread and got a roll and I was the only person there. Now I understand why. Never again.
Wife liked vegetable plate. I had chicken and dressing: very small portion of chicken, dressing was not Southern style that I'm accustomed to, only corn meal mush no onion, celery or typical seasonings! Fried apples were good, slaw was ok didn't care for horseradish flavor.Cornbread good, wasn't baked In cast-iron skillet ss typicalSouthernstyle. . Need some oil and use parchment paper to keep it from sticking to pan/sheet.
