Holt's Diner - Winchester

We love Holts. Delicious Diner fare with a retro feeling and the service is friemdly and pleasant. The owner even made the rounds at our first visit. It'll be a regular place for us.

Big little diner. Service was friendly and helpful as this was our first visit. The selection of dishes is pretty good and everything we had was delicious. We were in the area that made some sights and moonlight tasting. The place we wanted for lunch was closed so we landed here. Great coincidence, as we enjoyed all our meals and the big portions. I had the fried chicken that was perfect. My son and his fiancée had burgers both juicy and tasty. Next time we're in the area, we'll be back.

I had the Bacon, Egg, Cheddar Burger. It was pretty good. The bacon was thick, not limp, but not too crisp and generous. My better half said the land was fried was excellent and the potatoes were excellent. I don't know if it was the owner or manager, but he came by and checked us. I had the feeling that if I had a problem, he would have done it right.

The first time I tried their food I got the daily special meatloaf. I got salad and green beans with it. The food was mediocre and there was a hair in the green beans. I know this can happen sometimes so I decided to try them again today. We got wings and fries. The wings were decent. The fries were over cooked and looked like they had been cooked in old oil. We tried a few of the fries them trashed them.

First time here and it was delicious good portion for the price it's a great dining experience takes u back to a dinner feeling ! They also serve hand dipped ice cream and fresh spun milkshakes !! They close at 2pm everyday except for Friday open till 8 pm !
