Granny's - Winchester

Fantastic menu! The food was outstanding, and the service was very friendly! I enjoyed the pork chop with grits and some perfectly made pancakes, while my husband opted for a meat-lover's dish. Everything was incredibly delicious, and our server was both welcoming and attentive. We passed by Purcellville, and two other diners were closed on Wednesday, but we’re glad they were because Granny’s turned out to be a delightful find!

This charming family-owned restaurant takes you back to the good old days. My favorite dish is Gary's breakfast bowls, which are served all day long. Wendy's service is consistently warm and laid-back. On Wednesdays, they sometimes host live music with local artists, including a fantastic performer named Duffy, who plays beautiful country, folk, and pop songs for three hours straight. Occasionally, this is complemented by an accomplished violinist named Teri and another guitarist.

This charming little spot is perfect for a home-cooked breakfast. The homemade fritters are amazing, and the omelets are truly delicious. Food: 5/5

Pancakes were good, coffee okay, but the roasted steak was the worst thing I ever had. The land engraving was slimy. Scrabble eggs were okay at home potatoes need to be cooked more.

Don't be fooled by the looks of this restaurant, it is not a fancy place, but boy, the food was really good. There were three of us. Two had the pot roast. The meat was extremely tender, and the gravy was delicious. The homemade mashed potatoes were also very good. The other person was my mom, who had a chicken salad sandwich on rye. That was not on the menu, but my mom asked what the chicken salad was on the menu. The waitress explained it was grilled chicken on a salad. But then she said I can make you chicken salad if you want? My mom said the chicken salad was really good. Homemade garlic bread with the dinners was also good. A very good meal and the people there were very nice. We are not from the area, but if we ever get up this way again, we will definitely be stopping by.
