Black Horse Tavern - Winchester

Delicious! While every restaurant in Boston was crowded, we took a quick trip to Winchester and enjoyed every bite!

I have dined at this restaurant twice and ordered two different flatbread pizzas: blue cheese steak and pulled pork BBQ. I have to say, the food is incredible. These flatbread pizzas are among the best I've ever had. I highly recommend giving this place a try, and I look forward to sampling more items from the menu.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips. The squid they served was incredibly fresh and meaty. I also appreciated that it was cut just right—not too fine—so it had great flavor. The side dish that came with it also seemed homemade and was unique, yet very tasty compared to most I've tried. It was classic pub food of excellent quality. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating regarding my stroller, which can be a hassle to navigate in restaurants.

I had escaped anyone they offered at this point. I can't say what my favorite is. I can only say that everything was offered was delicious with bursting aromen and great thought process for the accompaniment. I would recommend this restaurant for those who are a wide palate of aromen with a understanding of good eating and are willing to pay the price for it. for those who like bland american food....then this is not their place. it is for those who appreciate

This place is a hidden jem just outside of Winchester Square. The staff are attentive and pleasant as they serve you a wonderful meal. The menu is wonderfully varied to accommodate any hunger pangs you need filled. I live 20 minutes away and drive by many other restaurants to eat here. It can get a little loud as there is a bar with plenty of tv's, but it is a great place to have a drink and watch the game!!
