Montague Inn - Wincanton

Beautiful place, nice staff, good landscape and outdoor area. many parking places, dogs allowed in the bar (although I don't think the area at the back tables to eat in the bar area). it is only at the end of the lock-off so that they only have a fresh beer on that 's understandable, the wee that we had was pretty good and the list seemed a pretty good overall choice (I am not an expert, but my friend seemed satisfied). I had the pheasant, ham and lick short crust cake (foto is halfway through, it is not a great photo, but tastes very good). not small, but also not American, exactly right. would definitely go back.

Wow, the food and service are fantastic! There are eight main dishes to choose from, along with a great selection of burgers and various starter options. I can't wait to return!

Apart from one of the natives who were rude when my wife wanted to apologise and he just sat there, he had to block him a little. sean is a large renter, with friendly staff and great eating. we have been in the opposite and not the strange ignorant local. you always get one.

The food was truly outstanding. The fish was cooked to perfection. Delicious!
