Contribuiți la feedbackI have dined at this restaurant for Sunday Lunch on numerous occasions and it has always been top-notch. However, today we ordered the three-meat roast and coffees. Unfortunately, the roast vegetables were undercooked and hard, making the potatoes and parsnips difficult to cut. There was no gravy and everything was served cold. Overall, very disappointing as I don't believe it was worth the £40 we paid.
We stopped here en route to Southampton. Lovely, bright, airy building. Outlook nice. Staff efficient, welcoming and always smiling, despite it being absolutely mind boggling busy how the manager at the front desk knew which tables were free and still maintained her smile is beyond me! They also looked smart with their uniform, which gave the atmosphere a bit of class. We were attended to at every turn. We were able to order at another till near where we were seated which was helpful. Food arrived in a very short space of time, considering how busy it was and was delicious. Thank you.
This was my first time to this restaurant definitely will not be the last. The menu was very varied. I love that you can have a mixture of bite size pieces of cake, instead of one large piece. The roast gammon was delicious tender. Not dried out. My friend had a salad. The salad menu was a bit confusing and she wasn't sure what she would end up with on her plate. But she enjoyed what she did have.
Great place although the menu has changed and not necessarily for the good. Lots of choice for the vegetarian but not much else. We visit the Garden Centre regularly so we will eat at the restaurant again once the menu has changed to include a chicken or red meat option
Between set seasonal set ups so far but there are some nice displays. The individuals working in the center are super helpful The cafe has some nice afternoon tea options, has limited but we'll sign posted allergy options and high chairs. The cafe is expensive for what it serves but venue is nice and well maintained. Staff could be more attentive
