Eat Inn At Churchills - Wiltshire

Today we visited a soft play area with our grandchildren and they had an amazing time. Olivia took great care of us, being friendly and helpful. The manager, Matt, was also very welcoming. The craft area is a fantastic addition, providing a space for the kids to unwind with plenty of pens, paper, and glue. Overall, it's a fantastic place for kids and the adults can enjoy great coffee while the children entertain themselves.

The restaurant has a friendly and helpful staff, especially Jodie who is very good and engaging. The service was nice and the menu offered a good variety of options at a good value. The breakfast was excellent.

Last night, I dined with 5 friends at the restaurant. Due to staff shortages, there was a limited menu available. Despite being short-staffed, the employees were cheerful and welcoming. Our orders were taken promptly and our food arrived as ordered. I had the Hunters Chicken, which was delicious. Many thanks to Charlotte, Hazel, and Jack for their efforts in ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Jack even offered to take a group photo for us, despite being busy. Hopefully, our next visit will offer a full menu selection and a full staff team.

We had a lovely time in the Wacky Play area. It was nice and cool on a very hot day outside. The children could play without me worrying about getting too much sun! They have also set up a lovely craft room. We went in half way through and the children absolutely loved it. Thank you Olivia for making it a lovely morning for us from the service to the craft area.

First time I'm leaving a negative review on TripAdvisor, but honestly the service yesterday was absolutely shocking and the food was terrible. Even my custard was cold with my pudding, the place wasn't busy and yet service was incredibly slow and inconsistent. Was also surprised that we still had to pay entry for the play area even though we were dining at the restaurant, so much potential as a lovely decorated pub but sadly everything else let's it down
