We ride a motorcycle through the countryside a lot, we stopped for Sunday lunch at The Ship Inn, the Sunday beef dinner was the best I've ever had. The beef was soft and juicy, long slow cooking did its job. A large, thick piece of meat. The best beef I've ever eaten. Delicious, we will definitely go back there when we are in the area. Thank you. Price per person: £10–20
A fantastic pub tucked away in a picturesque little hamlet. The food was some of the nicest I have eaten in a pub for a long time. The confit of duck was superb as was the roasted pork chop. A friend had the sticky toffee pudding and raved about it! The service was excellent and the location beautiful with a stream running through the garden with plenty of tables and chairs outside. This is well worth going a little off the beaten track to find. Price per person: £20–30
