Mama Mia Pizza Italian - Wilson

The food is fantastic, the portions are enormous, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Skip Olive Garden—Mama Mia's is far superior!

We've been to Mama Mia's twice, and the pizza is absolutely the best! Having lived in several states, I can confidently say this is the best pizza I've ever had—no competition! The pepperoni topping is fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there are no pork ingredients on the pizza. I believe it offers great value for the price. During my last visit, I ordered a salad, which was decent; the veggies were fresh, but it could have used more tomatoes. We'll definitely keep coming back for our pizza nights!

I highly recommend trying the pizza. The crust is wonderfully light and subtly sweet, with the perfect combination of softness, crunchiness, and chewiness. Depending on your seating, you might even get to see your pizza being hand-tossed while you dine. On the appetizer menu, you can't go wrong with the garlic knots and fried mozzarella. As for sandwiches, we often enjoy the cheesesteaks and chicken or eggplant parmesans. I'm a fan of gyros as well; the beef is standard fare but is complemented nicely with fresh tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and a soft pita. It's a satisfying option for your gyro cravings. The French fries are always crispy and well-cooked, disappearing quickly from the table. While the lasagna and some other pasta dishes are tasty, it's important to note that the real highlights at Mama Mia's are their pizzas and sandwiches. If you're looking for authentic Italian meals like lasagna or various pasta dishes, you might want to try a restaurant that specializes in those to avoid any disappointment. The staff is friendly, and the owners are frequently present. Just keep in mind that it can get quite busy during lunch and dinner hours.

Simply amazing!. Mama Mias has fast become one of my favorite places in Wilson to eat! Everything I have ever tried has been great, and the service is always good, and I love the family atmosphere! Its nice to eat somewhere where they remember your name and always have the time to personally make sure everything is to your liking!

The food was good, and the waitress was friendly, but the restaurant itself was quite clean and empty, aside from the staff. When we arrived, the hostess was seated at a table on her phone and also served as our waitress. She got up to assist us as we were seated, but two other employees were engaged in a loud conversation while looking at their phones, making it difficult for my husband and me to have our own conversation without being overheard. Despite this, we plan to return because, as I mentioned, the food is really good.
