Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Wilson

We stopped on the way to Baltimore in the area. We came across this diner by chance and decided to go. The staff is very friendly and polite. They went beyond and beyond to make sure our food was wonderful. I had the cheese steak. That was a big cheese steak, meat, cheese, onions? I don't eat fungal allergy) or paprika. The bread to which it came was perfect! My husband had the hot dogs and chili cheese riders and was impressed by him everything he even asked for more Koleslaw!) I really hope you'll see by and have something to eat! You have cute cars to be served for the kids menu food. The menu offers a good choice for children and adults.

Eating is good, but the service is abysmal never refilling, other customers came after us, but still their food and check before us

After I received my meal, I noticed something concerning: the chef who prepared my food had to go back to the kitchen for something. While I was waiting, I observed another cook preparing food without wearing gloves. He took off his hat, scratched his face, and then continued preparing food without washing his hands. To make matters worse, I saw one of the chefs ask the waitresses if they would check on me, but there were three waitstaff present, so I couldn't understand why the service was so lacking. I've visited this restaurant many times before and have never encountered such poor customer service. In past visits, even with just one waitress and a cook, the service was significantly better. I'm truly disappointed!

However, I have to update my review. On May 23, my experience took a turn for the worse when the food arrived cold, and my fries weren’t even included. It was a complete disappointment. Then, on July 27, I tried again, but it was another letdown. After discussing it with someone on our local Wilson Facebook group, I thought it would be worth giving them another chance—but that was a BIG MISTAKE! I ordered a build-your-own burger and also got a cheeseburger meal for my daughter, but I didn’t specify that she needed a drink with her meal. When our food arrived, I was eager to see how it turned out. Unfortunately, I found that there was only one piece of bacon—broken and burnt! It was absolutely pitiful. This has been the last straw for me!

I went for lunch and had a terrible experience. My first burger was missing bacon, which is fine because that can be added. However, the pepper jack cheese was hard and not melted at all. I sent it back and overheard the cook mention something about melted cheese causing issues with the grill. They sent the burger back out, but it still tasted like water and was undercooked. I didn’t want to deal with getting it fixed again, so I just paid for it and left feeling unsatisfied, having only taken a few bites. On a positive note, my server was very apologetic and sweet; I didn’t catch her name, but she was a slim blonde girl. I later went to another location a few miles away in Wilson, and they got everything right!
