Wendy's House - Wilmington

We came here for a girls night out. It's a cute little shop! Reasonable prices and chill atmosphere. Their wine, cheese and salami selection is excellent and it's very fun to have the variety. The inside has a lot of conversation pieces.

We had a big lunch and we are not really hungry, but thought something light would be in order as long as it wasn't at a fast eating place. looking for special places in the environment, we found this jewel of a wine and cheese business! sounds as if it was simple enough and it was quite close to our hotel. the staff, both christine and otherrew were helpful and very friendly. we have a card to use the wine donors and ask for some of the white ones. andrew suggested a luca chardonnay that was so delicious that we had some glasses. we bought a cheese assortment and rustic cracker that terrifisch went well with each other and the wine. when we were gone, Christian and others had made us feel that we had light refreshments in the apartment of a friend. in the did it is a small house artistically decorated in different rooms. there are plenty of parking on the back, as well as terrace sitting behind the house, and on a small veranda. I don't know where we have been, that's something, but I wish there was a lot of room in the tampa bay area.

While it was wasn't bad, it wasn't as great as I hoped it'd be. The atmosphere was great, nice quaint rooms and welcoming environment. I think where it falls short is not having prepared boards and/or knowledge about what pares well with wine selections. One could easily go to Publix grab a bottle of wine and similar items so what we're truly selling is an experience. Having the option for ordering a board versus individual items and knowledge of pairing would enhance the experience and allow you to sell more products.

Lovely, cute place. Friendly staff. And most importantly, a GREAT wine list. They have great, high end, quality wines that are at a great price point for what you’re getting! My wife and I’s first time here and definitely not our last.

Grateful to stumble upon this little gem. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I chose to sample several selections from their wine dispenser which we enjoyed while working in one of their back rooms. The eclectic decor and variety of wine, cheese and chocolate selections match perfectly. We are looking forward to coming back when family is in town for Christmas.
