R.f Mcdougalls Pub - Wilmington

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves it! After hiking the Flume, we were very hungry and were delighted to find they allow dogs on the patio. To our surprise, as soon as we were seated, a lovely waitress brought our dog a bowl of cold water, which he really needed. She even offered him a treat! I ordered the smoked trout roll based on a recommendation, and my boyfriend had the chicken quesadilla. Both were delicious and just the right amount of food we needed. We will definitely return whenever we're in the area to enjoy the food and the view. However, I think our pup had the best time, feeling like a celebrity with all the attention from the waitstaff!

This charming pub is located downstairs from the Hungry Trout Restaurant, and they even offer outdoor seating so you can enjoy a million-dollar view without the high prices of the upscale dining upstairs. We ordered wings and a Caesar salad, both of which were delicious. It's a fantastic spot to relax while enjoying some live music. They also have a corn hole game set up along with a small terrace that overlooks the Ausable River.

I absolutely adore these waterfalls! It's a wonderful and tranquil spot to sit on a rock, listen to the flowing water, or enjoy a good book. There are a few cliffs along the river that are safe to jump off since the water is deep enough.

A scenery. We sat outside since it was a clear, beautiful night and mountains and river behind the restaurant just provided a perfect setting for a meal in the Adirondacks. We ordered the pretzel to start because who can pass up a soft pretzel. Fresh,soft and it hit the spot. Ordered a burger for dinner, nothing special but still tasty. 5/5 for the view, 4/5 for the food. Myhusband thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was.
