Mimi's Cafe Shop - Wilmington

The service at this restaurant is consistently quick and rude. Their hot lattes are decent, but other drinks like lemonade, chai, and hot chocolate did not impress me or my family. I spent $7 on a chai latte that tasted like milk with a hint of cinnamon. The overall quality of both the food and service needs improvement. Despite this, I am excited to have a place like this in Wilmington, although I wish the drinks were better tasting. After drinking the chai latte, I felt sick and questioned if I actually received almond milk as I paid for.

Mimi's is a cute little snack/lunch shop with good sandwiches and non-alcoholic drinks. We got a veggie sandwich and you can choose from several types of bread. The only downside is that you don't get free refills. The gal at the register was very personable also.

Food is outrageously priced for the quality. Ordered 2 frozen drinks with espresso that tasted like straight milk. No coffee flavor at all. If I wanted to order a milkshake I would have, I wanted coffee. 0 stars. Never going back

The food at this restaurant is delicious. I have visited a few times to support local businesses, but today will be my last visit. When I walked in to pick up my online order, no one greeted me. It seemed as though everyone was busy working and even the owners seemed preoccupied. My food was sitting in the window, ready to go, but no one acknowledged me or offered to help. I waited for 5 minutes to see how long it would take for someone to notice me. Finally, the owner asked who I was and handed me my food. There was no thank you or apology for the wait. It was disappointing to be ignored in this way. While I believe in supporting businesses in our town, I will not return to any establishment with such a lack of customer service.

A nice local coffee shop. There aren't enough places like this in small towns. The coffee drinks are well-made, the sandwiches are very tasty and fleshly made. The sandwiches are large and interesting without being fussy. It is decorated in a cute, but not overly cutesy way. You can sit and enjoy your coffee or lunch with friends. Don't forget to visit the antique, boutique and gift shops on the street. Shopping and lunch at Mimi's Cafe is a good girls' day out.
