Kava Haus - Wilmington

In short, the food—from the salad to the dessert—was the best I've had in Wilmington in the past few years. I've faced long waits, poor service, and mediocre food at other local establishments, but after dining at Kava Haus, it’s clear that a new top contender has emerged in Wilmington's restaurant scene. I eagerly await the unveiling of their full dinner menu. Plus, it’s locally owned, which makes it even more appealing!

The pizza is fantastic, and the coffeehouse vibe is incredibly relaxing. Their scones are also delightful!

The atmosphere is lovely, and the customizable breakfast sandwiches are fantastic!

I visited this restaurant for brunch with my mother on Mother's Day. We both ordered salads; she had a mocha latte while I opted for a dirty white Buddha latte, which is essentially a fancier chai latte with espresso. The atmosphere was delightful, and I really appreciated the building's architecture. The staff were very friendly as well. However, I can't give it a full five stars because I found it a bit pricey for what we received. The salads were tasty, but they didn't stand out compared to offerings at other places. While it's not somewhere we would frequent due to the cost, it's definitely a lovely spot for an occasional coffee treat and a nice chat in a pleasant setting.

The best frappes and subs you can get in town! I recommend the frog frappe it’s my favorite one I’ve tried! The toasted marshmallow frappe is good too! And on Thursdays they have brownies I always try to get one they do sell out quick! 10/10
