Islands Fresh Mex Grill - Wilmington

Islands is a great place to eat. Lately, the quality has been going downhill. I wouldn't post this if it had only been a time or two. This is how my tacos have been the last few times. Been leaving multiple ingredients off tacos, and of providing equivalent of a teaspoon of meat on tacos. See pictures,

Always love the food here. I get the build your own burrito regularly. Their pork is so soft and is my favorite in town. The app is easy and super convenient to use. They even have a pick-up spot near the cashier for online orders. I do wish they gave you a few more chips like they used to. The new dining room looks awesome too, and I'm glad they kept their small salsa bar! It is pretty noisy inside because the dining room is packed with cool games like ski-ball, arcades, and an air hokey table. This is a great place if you have kids, and there are tons always running around.Parking: Parking is in a large plaza. No problem.

The food is pretty good but the restaurant is extremely loud! They have an arcade and a playground for kids inside the restaurant, but it is incredibly deafening to try to enjoy a meal here.I guess if you have little kids, that it is a great place to take them, but if you just want to enjoy a fairly quiet meal, I suggest you order it to go.Parking: Plenty of parking in a strip center

The tacos are unbeatable! For the price, this place offers the best value around. There’s a wide selection of meat options and salsas, and the Islands Sauce is a must-try. Plus, they have games and an indoor play area for the kids.
