Dockside Restaurant Bar - Wilmington

Don’t get to Wilmington all that often, but when we do, we love going to Dockside. Beautiful day watching sailboats go by as we ate lunch. Food always delicious, great crab cake!

Best to hit the bar and see friends but I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Overpriced menu that never changes. We had a terrible salad and the 22 year old kitchen staff seemed more concerned how it went out the door like that than the manager was. Salad was removed from the bill. This is an $11 plate of lettuce and mushrooms… Otherwise cold beer, fast bartenders and a killer view at this WB staple.

Fun place with great drinks and food. Lots of seating with an amazing view overlooking the waterway. Friendly staff who caters to your needs and is happy to do so. Highly recommend this place when in Wrightsville area.

Pretty spot. Food was mediocre. Crab cake contained mostly breading. There is no lump crab at all. I am from Maryland, and these would not cut it there...at all. I had the grilled Mahi and it was skinny, watery and cold and Extremely salty...I almost couldn't eat it. Seemed steamed rather than grilled. Good side salad. The waiter didn't bring tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. And we waited a good 15 minutes before anyone came to the table.

Steamed oysters were very good. The view and atmosphere were excellent.
