Contribuiți la feedbackWOW! I am from Ohio and we have a Breadsmith there that I used to frequent in Lakewood. Since moving here, I have lamented the lack of a fine artisian bread bakery when I happened upon the Breadsmith in Monkey Junction. The variety is outstanding and there is so much to choose from that I always leave with several loaves of bread, scones, biscotti, and at Christmas I order the Chocolate Panettone you have not lived until you have taken ONE BITE of this sumptuous treat! Prices are nominal compared to the wholesome and fresh ingredients, and baking process. If you are expecting a loaf of bread for $1.49 just move out of the line, and hit up Walmart because this bread, those cookies, muffins, biscotti, dessert breads are far superior that what you will find anywhere else! The staff was friendly and very helpful even though there was a long line of customers waiting for some of their delicious baked goods. I have ALWAYS been treated kindly. There are special orders througout the year that offer breads that are seasonal, you can order breads from the menu and pick it up. I encourage ALL to give this glorious atisianal breadsmith a try. You will not regret it. Don't let this fatabulous and delicious establishment be ignored or close because this is truly an outstanding business, and taste explosion!
I discovered Breadsmith a while ago, and I love their products. I’ve had great interactions there….until today. I will not go back after this. I was buying four rolls (1.25 each), and the young woman working said if I got two more it would be cheaper. I said okay! So, I was given six rolls, charged over $9 (six rolls =7.50), and I was so bust being nice and leaving a big tip, I didn’t snap to it until a little later. When I went back to nicely explain it to the young woman, she rudely said “if you say so”, and after blaming me for her mistake, she refunded me for one roll instead of two because of the “discount”. The point is, I bought more than I wanted, paid more than the actual cost of the products, and the employee was rude. I was taken aback because I was really friendly about it! She did not make right HER mistake, so I will stay away from there until the right action is taken.
Disappointing selection of pastries this morning (September 3, 2022 ... labor day weekend! . Based on the online menu and reviews I expected to find croissants, scones, and fruit bread. Croissants were all gone. The only scones left were orange cranberry (not for me! , and the fruit breads were only available as a full loaf. We turned around and left. Their breads looked good, but if you are looking for something sweet for breakfast, I suggest to call before you go or you may end up wasting your time like we did.
Awesome bread choices. Baked fresh every day. Our choices were baked that morning. No preservative. Keep in mind if buying in quantit. However, freezing is an option. Prices are in line with major grocery stores for artisan bread. about $6 a loaf.
Solid bakery I thoroughly enjoyed my coconut scone, a nice soft texture and not overly sweet. I also tried the chocolate cookie which had a lovely real cocoa flavor and the apple pie bread which was also good but probably better used in a recipe. More signage explaining what's available would help as I had to ask what everything was.
