Aromas Of Peru - Wilmington

This restaurant is one of the few true Peruvian dining spots in town, and maybe the only one. I have consistently had great experiences here. It is owned by the same family that used to run the Golden Chicken at this same location. Most of the entrees are priced between $10 and $20, and they always come in generous portions. I have never left this restaurant feeling hungry. They serve plenty of fries, yucca, and plantains to fill you up, along with flavorful sauces that you can't find anywhere else in town. I tried the jumping chicken dish, and so far I prefer the chicken options over the beef.

Aromas is an excellent place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. I especially enjoyed the rotisserie chicken with rice, beans, and plantains - it was absolutely delicious.

I visited this restaurant to sample some Peruvian cuisine and found the atmosphere to be pleasant. It's a small, hidden gem that can get crowded during lunchtime. I ordered the paella and lo mein. I thought the paella was a bit salty, but it could just be my preference. The lo mein was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a unique dining experience.

This place was great! The food was authentic! Nice portions , hot and tasted fresh. The waiter was super nice. The $9.99 lunch special can't be beat! Heathly option compared to fast food. It's across the street from Lowes if you want an option cheaper than a chain restaurant this is it!

Oh my goodness. I wish I would have came here sooner than last time. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and good portions. The fried rice was out of world good and the plantains were to die for! The Peruvian beans were delicious. The mango drink was soooo yummy. We got 2 different deserts to take home. One was a layered pastry with Peruvian Carmel and powdered sugar and the other looked like a cannoli with this cream filling. SO GOOD. I cannot wait to come back here and get more things!!!!! Awesome job guys. Really really really enjoyed it.
