Additionally, as a retired military member, I was met with a very rude response when I inquired about a discount. While I don’t expect any special treatment, a little kindness goes a long way, and I believe the staff could benefit from a course in basic manners. It's truly unfortunate. There were also some service delays; my friend asked for lemons, which took an incredibly long time to arrive, obviously forgotten by the server. Another friend ordered a beer, and again, the same server took ages to bring it out. He was almost finished with his meal when she finally mentioned that the beer would be ready soon. It’s clear that she had forgotten it, and instead of acknowledging that, it felt as if she was just trying to placate him. It’s frustrating to see them chatting with another server while our needs go unattended. Overall, it's disappointing. The restaurant has so much potential—let’s hope they can improve!

We ordered several items: Fried Green Tomatoes, Pretzel Chicken, a Chicken Tender Plate, a Portobello Mushroom Sandwich, and a Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwich served with chips. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The waitstaff was attentive and on point. However, the host appeared slightly annoyed by our arrival so close to closing time. Perhaps it had been a long night for them?

We started with some beers and ordered the pretzel served with mustard and queso on the side. As you can see from the photo, it was delicious, though I barely managed to snap a picture before we dug in! For dinner, my vegetarian friend had the roasted portobello pita and found it both tasty and satisfying. She appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options available on the menu. Two others in our group ordered the shrimp and grit cakes and both absolutely loved them! The grit cakes were particularly outstanding. I opted for a classic burger with fries on the side. It was cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful. The fries were also excellent and paired nicely with the queso from the pretzel. We would definitely return to this restaurant! One busy place! 2 friends and I really enjoyed our meals. One had the Fried Green Tomato BLT, and the other friend I both had Beer Battered Fish n Chips, but we asked for coleslaw the Marinated Cucumbers w/Red Onion Tomato (aka summer salad). Sandwich was with house made potato chips. Food came fast fresh!!! Don't laugh too hard: Happily, since it's a typical hot muggy day in NC, the water tasted butter than many places! The pink lemonade was nice, too. Wait staff was friendly professional ecen though I never caught anyone's name. Thank you for a good place to relax rejuvenate! One of us is from NC, one is from CO, I'm from CA. We now know where to go!

We had an awesome Memorial Day Weekend dinner at Front Street Brewery (9 N Front St, Wilmington, NC) on Friday night. The place was bustling yet not overly crowded. We started with the house-made chips--delicious! Georgia, our server, was outstanding, attentive, and friendly despite juggling multiple tables. I enjoyed a basic American Burger with fries, and my wife had the $9 bargain Grilled Chicken and Rice bowl. Both exceeded our expectations. Our local beer and mixed drink were the icing on the cake. We'll certainly be back!
