The Melting Pot - Wilmington

We've periodically dined at The Melting Pot Wilmington DE for close to years and have visited other Melting Pots across the country. This was our first visit to the Wilmington franchise since the pandemic and the experience has declined significantly. The quality of meats/cuts of meats has dropped while prices remain high. Service quality has also significantly declined. Staffing levels are well below normal and the existing staff is harried and stretched thin. Tables remained uncleared for long periods of time and servers were overtaxed to be able to reasonably take care of patrons. This fundamentally alters the dining experience to the point where the price now exceeds the perceived value. I hope they get these issues resolved we usually love the restaurant and experience

We had excellent service despite a reservation that was fairly late. The waitstaff was wonderful to us, and we had a blast

Very poor service and reduced amenities made for a night that simply couldn’t be saved. This location used to be much better

We were seated minutes before our reservation in a cute corner booth. The food was amazing!!! food. Our waiter was awesome too(shout out to Jake and honestly made the evening for us. A little bit expensive, but for special occasions, definitely worth it

Went for an anniversary dinner and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a "happy anniversary" card from the staff. It was a nice touch. Everything else was fantastic, from the food to the service. Everyone we encountered was great
