Homer's Ice Cream - Wilmette

Great stuff, they really welcoming and happy to help with patience because I get indecisive sometimes and awesome ice cream too

We're in our 50s and 60s. Our grandmother used to bring us to Homer's for special days and we'd get a hot dog and peppermint ice cream. Now we all live out of town but came home for my brother's birthday. We decide to see if Homer's is even still open and to our wonderful delight it is!NOTHING has changed since we were kids, right down to that memorable flavor of Homer's peppermint ice cream with the REAL pieces of peppermint candy ?Who says you can't go home again?

I've been eating at Homer's for over 20 years. My last meal there, was an Italian Beef sandwich, with Fries and a drink. I come there in the summer, for ice cream. It's a nice, casual, family- friendly place, with great food.

Nostalgic and well known on the north shore of Chicago, Homer's never disappoints. Their portion sizes are large so usually a single scoop is enough for me.

I haven’t had a chance to try the food because the wait was so long. Also the young lady at the counter was rude she never acknowledged me at all I walked up behind an older gentleman who was picking up. After she dealt with him she walked off and never came back. Terrible customer service.
