Zen Asian Bistro Sushi - Williston Park

I don’t expect much from my sweet and sour chicken—just that it satisfies my craving once a month. While I know I won't get the hearty portions I remember from my youth on the East Coast, I'm accustomed to the imbalance of chicken and breading. Zen Asian Bistro was no different in this aspect, but they impressed me with the flavor of the sauce and the variety of vegetables that accompanied the dish. At lunchtime, they also serve a salad and an egg roll, making it a great value. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. Plus, I love the option to order sushi alongside my meal; I enjoyed a California roll as part of my order. Honestly, I could have stayed and eaten even more! I’m surprised this place isn’t busier.

The miso soup was incredibly comforting, and at just $2.25, it's an incredible bargain. The caterpillar roll was one of the more affordable options on the menu, and it certainly didn't disappoint—it was fantastic! I also loved the creative touch on the plate, where they combined wasabi, hot mayo, and teriyaki sauce into a perfect blend for drizzling over sushi. Overall, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the food is truly delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and would happily come back!

I absolutely loved the location, atmosphere, decor, staff, service, food presentation, and taste. Everything was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back!
