The place opened at noon! The food is authentic, tasteful and fantastic at the bottom. Nothing was excessively fat or salty, which tends to happen in some Chinese restaurants. The food was freshly prepared and was generous. Pricing is based on other Chinese restaurants on LI. The staff was attentive with commands, clearing boards and me the check fast. Overall, I am excited about the place and would definitely come back to try out the other elements on the menu. Please see my pictures for the items I've eaten today. The little pancake was not depicted. Freshly made, not oily, but was too hungry, and began to eat before the picture was taken.
I have dined here twice in two weeks and must say the food was pretty, I could add in the past, I have experienced quality inconsistency several times. I am pleased to be able to say that I will return soon, and I would also like to mention that they have not beaten me too much by increasing prices as regards the fact that it is one of the more reasonable prices.
If you like Chinese food that is something on the salty side, this is the place for you. The food is quite authentic and choose dishes that I had are quite delicious. One of the most attractive part of this restaurant is that if you order a little more than $11 you get free soup dumplings! That's a good deal! I had the braided pig with preserved vegetables and it was delicious and Well Done compared to other Chinese restaurants. The additional cost of $1.50 for brown rice is quite standard and definitely recommended to go with some of these salty dishes that this restaurant tends to produce. This place is perfect if you need a lot of sodium and help to drink a lot of liquid after a good workout because you will be thirst for the next hours and allow you to hydrate. Oil
Great place that is authentic Chinese food that you normally need to travel to Queen to get. Prices are reasonable and prices are large. The free soup dumplings as an appetizer were excellent.
Because of the covid restrictions we can no longer visit Little Dumplings in Queens. But, as the saying goes, everything that happens, it's for the best. Stopped by this little gem for lunch today. Have to say that both my husband and I are foodies. We ordered a tray of dumplings, scallion pancake and rice pan fried rice noodles with chicken. Our mistake, because we thought we were ordering crispy noodles with chicken. The dumplings are tasty, tender and simply delicious!!!! The sauce for the dumplings can use some ginger. It tasted like a plain soy sauce. Scallion pancake was the best I've ever tasted!! Light, crispy, delicate, not greasy at all!!! Then there is noodles. We expected something like fried noodles, but this was different. More ...like the low main...but more delicate and tastier. We will be back!!!
