Wyndham Garden Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

Been coming here every year for 9 years. Price stays great. Free hot breakfast. Across the street from target and water park. Pool on site. Great place to stay on vacation. Will be back next year too.

The breakfast was good, but could use a bit more variety concerning proteins. Ample free parking. Staff member, Rasaih, was very kind, courteous, and friendly. The owner needs to loosen up the purse strings for the following reasons: The fitness center is ok but needs sanitizing wipes. The bathroom is too small. It was difficult to move around.The building side doors get stuck quite a bit.The beds are full size instead of queen size. The outside windows need cleaning. There are many ant hills in the parking lot area. There is a fruit fly issue in the rooms.The furniture was well kept up but a bit aged. The TV channels are limited. The television was analogue vice HDTV. The wifi was a bit spotty at times.

Comfortable beds………bathtub wouldn’t drain found cousin it living in the drain…..disrespectful guests on our floor… 2 different occurrences where 2 different guests were yelling and cussing something terrible enough to make a sailor blush. Kids in pool disrespectful squirting water guns aiming at other guests. Parents of the kids couldn’t care less what their kids were doing

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, and I cannot express enough how disappointing and unpleasant my stay was. I encountered a multitude of issues that left me utterly dissatisfied and frustrated with this establishment.First and foremost, the room was infested with bed bugs. It was a nightmare dealing with these pests, as they caused me constant discomfort and left me with itchy, irritated skin. In addition to the bed bug problem, the beds in the room were completely wrong in size, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep.The air conditioning system in the hotel was clearly outdated and barely functional. The ancient AC units struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, leading to inconsistent cooling and exacerbating my discomfort. To make matters worse, the poor air quality from the outdated AC contributed to me falling ill and experiencing stomach pains throughout my stay.The layout of the room was also highly inconvenient. Having the sink located outside of the bathroom was an odd and impractical design choice, causing unnecessary inconvenience and disrupting the overall functionality of the space.Furthermore, the noise levels in the hotel were unbearable. My neighbors were engaged in loud, disruptive behavior for hours on end, making it nearly impossible to get any rest or relaxation. This lack of sound insulation and disregard for guest comfort was highly disappointing.The breakfast offered at the hotel was nothing short of a disaster. The food was overcooked, of terrible quality, and lacking in variety. It was clear that the hotel had little regard for providing a satisfying dining experience for their guests.The room itself had numerous maintenance issues. The outlets did not work, rendering it impossible to charge electronic devices or use any appliances. Moreover, the exposed wiring posed a safety hazard and was a clear sign of neglect on the hotel's part.While I can commend the hotel's location for its proximity to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, this positive aspect was overshadowed by the multitude of issues I encountered. The staff, though, were polite and helpful, but unfortunately, their friendliness was not enough to salvage my experience.To make matters worse, the hotel's parking area was notorious for car break-ins. I felt constantly worried about the security of my vehicle, and it significantly added to my stress during the stay. Additionally, the pool water was disgustingly dirty, and accidentally ingesting it made me feel nauseous. Tying the gate to the pool with a rope attached to a floatie was a clear demonstration of the hotel's lack of professionalism and concern for guest safety.In summary, my stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel was an absolute nightmare. From the bed bugs to the wrong-sized beds, outdated AC units, inconvenient room layout, disruptive neighbors, terrible breakfast, non-functional outlets, exposed wiring, and security concerns, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The few positive aspects, such as the location and friendly staff, were overshadowed by the multitude of negative experiences I encountered.

I had higher expectations from a Wyndham. The room was comfortable, but it seemed like it had been recently repainted, and the job wasn't done well—there were paint splatters on the floor and uneven lines. The breakfast offerings were disappointing, with only one fruit option available, no yogurt, and no oatmeal. The hot food wasn't warm at all.
