Shorty's Diner - Williamsburg

I was in the Williamsburg area so I decided to stop by Shortys Diner to grab some lunch. When I got there, a table close to me had a plate of biscuits and gravy and at that point, I knew my decision had been made, I would have to try the biscuits and gravy. The service was prompt and my waitress Megan was very attentive and on point. Within minutes I had a very large plate of biscuits and gravy presented in front of me along with a side of home fries with onions. The very first bite took me back in time to memories of my grandmothers house, where she used to make the best biscuits and gravy that I have ever tasted. Shortys biscuits and gravy did not disappoint !!!! The biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy had just enough spice to set the dish off. The entire atmosphere of shortys was great. The facility was very clean, and every waitress in the place was very attentive to their customers. Shout out to Shorty's and it’s crew for a job. well done. I will definitely be back. Only thing that would make this trip better was if it was in Gloucester. Hopefully someday that will become a reality. Thanks again for a great experience and a phenomenal meal.

Awesome family breakfast before traveling back home!

Wow i am really speechless about this place. I ordered from door dash and they made my dasher wait an additional 30 minutes just for a sandwich. Once i start eating the sandwich, i taste nothing. The food was so dry and flavorless i really couldn’t believe it. How does an egg or bacon have no taste? The biscuit was dry and disgusting. The French toast was horrendous. Maybe they were having a bad day idk. But the food tasted like it was months old. What a waste of money.

I thought this was a very good place to have breakfast. It was very busy and the customers were really loud and noisy. The service was great and the food very tasty. Took one star away for the noise. Would visit again. I did visit again on August 1 2024. I’m taking all the stars away as this can’t be the same place where I ate before. The food cooked now is Awful and not to order. That coke machine and product taste was nasty! There are better places to eat so go there not here.
