Sal's By Victor - Williamsburg

First, I want to start by saying that the food and our server really made this restaurant noteworthy. It was a busy Friday night, and they were one of the few places that could accommodate our party of 10 on short notice. There was a nice gentleman playing music, and the atmosphere was lively with people. If we hadn’t been seated in the corner, and my daughter hadn’t had a severe fear of insects, we probably wouldn’t have noticed the cockroach that scurried up the wall behind her and disappeared behind a picture frame. It was unsettling, and it made me seriously question the cleanliness of the kitchen. If it hadn't been for that incident, we likely would have left without any complaints. However, all our dishes were delicious and well-prepared, and every other aspect of our meal was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic! We visited while seeing our son at Ft. Eustis and sought out local spots with great reviews. This place did not disappoint—it exceeded all our expectations! The food was fresh and delicious, and the wine selection was out of this world. As for the desserts? Wow! They were a heavenly treat! The prices are very reasonable, too—around $20 per adult meal and under $10 for dessert. We fed 6 hungry adults (4 of whom were young soldiers) for less than $200. I’d say that’s a win! I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem.

Our server was fantastic. We began our meal with some salads that were quite disappointing, as they tasted like stale bread. However, our appetizer of mozzarella and roasted peppers was enjoyable. My husband really loved his penne pasta with vodka sauce, and I found my pumpkin ravioli to be excellent. We concluded our dinner with a delicious dessert of Limoncello mascarpone cake and cannoli.

We chose this place because it was open late when we arrived after 9 a.m., the place was still populated. Our server was excellent, the owner and/or manager is present in the dining area to ensure that the costumes are happy. We ordered a philly sandwich, fatuccine and pizza to share. We enjoyed everything. Appropriate prices.

Delicious food! We?d love to come back and try more dishes on the menu! We were seated quickly and the red sauce was delicious. We also ordered a chicken parm sub and it was so good! Pasta dish and pizza were delicious! Can?t wait to come back :
