Contribuiți la feedbackRated just okay. Food quality varies. Some items are fresh and good. Other buffet items sit too long. Some (many) items are clearly bought premade/frozen and warmed in bulk. Fine for being added to the accommodations price. Would NOT spend extra to dine here if not staying at the hotel on site.Servers have ranged from great to absentee. Luck of the draw.
This is the kind of restaurant that survives solely because of its location. It's right next to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and breakfast/dinner is conveniently packaged when you buy hotel tickets.The food is cafeteria-grade at best, and the buffet space is only half used. Service is hit or miss. Its the kind of place you stop at only because you're starving and you might as well since you're staying next door or just got off the train.
Excellent place to have a very nice dinner with live music. The menu is small, but the food is really good. They also have a pasta station where they will make it your way every time. Food is great and service is great too. Will come back for more!!
Our first time there, the first contact we had was with the cashier, Jacob. Unfortunately, this young man was extremely rude with us even though we tried to be nice and joke with him. He obviously hates his job. Not a good look for the restaurant. The buffet was subpar. The salad bar wasn't stocked and you practically had to bend and stretch your arm under the glass to reach the food. Also had to ask for dessert. Sadly, we won't be going there our next trip.
The whole experience was so disappointing. I understand most places are having trouble keeping staff right now so I already give lots of leeway for slower service but this was just crazy.We checked in with the host was informed there would likely be a wait of approx. one hour for a table in the cafe or 45 min. in the lounge, so we opted to eat in the lounge giving us a shorter wait time. After an hour with no notification we wandered back in to wait at the host station. After waiting for an additional 15 minutes we watched as 3 tables left the lounge with no one going in. I wandered into the lounge and was shocked to see 7 empty tables with only 1 table seated and eating. The whole lounge only had a total of 8 tables and it was nearly empty! I asked the host if we could at least go in to have a drink while we were waiting and he said that wasn’t possible. After the host noticed me coming out of the lounge he went in himself and I watched as he cleaned 2 of the already tables(the other 5 were already clean and called us in to dine (finally! .We were given one menu and over the next 10 minutes a waitress walked by 3 times without acknowledging us at all! When she finally stopped to take our order 2 drinks 2 burgers she came back to apologize that our drinks would take a while since there were no clean glasses available. It wasn’t even busy! The place was almost empty! She finally brought my drink with our burgers however she never brought my husbands drink. (A glass of wine . After delivering our burgers I saw his wine sitting up at the bar for awhile finally went to get it myself.I can’t think of any establishment that would ever think this is good customer service I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay away! You’ll only be disappointed
