The Wharf - Wildwood

We went to the Wharf to celebrate my mother's birthday. While her Jersey family was there a million times, I didn't. Saturday afternoon, beautiful day outside, we have a table on the deck and I went straight to the bar. When I went to the bartender, I shook my hand, asked my name and said, "Is what do you drink?" The frozen Margarita I got was great. Later we ordered some appetizers and they were also A. The Bay Fries are amazing and the Philly egg rolls are the best I had. Our table also ordered the fish tacos that looked amazing, and I was told they were great. The band game was great on the great food and the great service. Good melodies, people who have fun and dance. Everyone was so nice and had only a great summer day. I would definitely recommend hanging on the Wharf.

We sat inside for a weekend. There was a band playing at the outside bar and at the dining area, which was nice and not too loud. We had a group of six and everyone seemed to enjoy their appetizers and meals. A good culinary experience on the beach. Next time, I could try the outdoor area for more fun and leisure.

We went to the Wharf with a large group of about 20 people, it was amazing!!! Everyone loved the dinners and appetizers!! The atmosphere was amazing!!! The staff were very warm to our group! Our waitress Kelly together with our food runner Frankie was so nice!! The manager Micky even turned on the table to check for everyone! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back! I personally had the filet memory that was from this world!!

This review is for the outside only bar and restaurant. . The good: The location is awesome. Right on the waterway great views. The service is usually pretty good. The wait staff is fairly quick and friendly. The live bands are always good. The food isn't bad. Not great, but good for bar style platters. The not so good: The food and drink prices are high (but that seems to be the case with many local bars inflation, I guess and there's not a great selection if you like craft beers. The main reason for missing stars in the rating (I almost gave 3 is that the deck dock that holds the outside seating area is usually overcrowded. The tables are too close to each other, and there are usually people dancing, eventually (at least when there is a live band . When Fat Mezz (check them out a truly great local band! played a week or two back, the amount of people was intolerable, at least for me. Maybe I'm getting old ; . Only some of the tables that get direct sunlight have umbrellas. It can get HOT out there. All said, I know I will be back there several times this summer, if only for the live music and fresh air.
