Panorama-Restaurant Säntisgipfel

Even though this is very capacious restaurant, you won't always get a table by the window view is amazing. I would say food is quite good for Switzerland, not just for the mountain top :

Come here for breakfast!! The extensive buffet is just delicios and the view is just absolutely amazing! They also have sunrise tours in the summer, spectacular!!

We visited today the summit of the Santis Mountains and went to the säntis environs restaurant for brunch. the personal was very helpful to speak with my sister in the right German and not to speak German to me and my wife to explain the dishes on the menu...and to give us instructions how to park later in apzellan village and where to park. the pork medals with rosette alpine macaroni, bratwurst with rosti were excellent games Swiss cuisine and the brot should die for! no look at the cloud cover, but this is obviously something that the restaurant cannot control, and we had a great view of the mountain. a really enjoyable visit and experience around many thanks!

Only annoyed to wait so long to even order while other tables were served. long, long even wait for a drink in a hot day. each excuse for an overloaded kitchen explains not yet another long wait to pay only. Come on, you can. better than that, it's the Swiss.

The panoramic view from this restaurant is outstanding. Unfortunately, prices there are rather high.
