Contribuiți la feedbackThought it was about time to update the reviews on this take away. First delivery very good service although we had been warned by the member of staff who took the order, that timing wasn't their high point, our meal arrived only 8 minutes after the requested time. The chutneys tray looked OK but in fact the raita and the mango were both very thin. The onion bhajis were small and beauifuuly crisp we prefer this size to the large ones which often have soggy middles. The lamb was certainly lamb most pieces were very well cooked but a couple in both the dopiaza and the balti were a bit chewy. The dopiaza had lovely, well cooked, chunks of peppers and onions which are the mainstay of this dish. All in all an accepatable meal at a good price. The questions re this restaurant are not relevant as it is take away/delivery only
Ordered take away as has £15 off nhs uber eats offer, my first two choices where closed and this was the only Indian open that was using uber eats! Ordered here years ago and thought the meat tasted like cheap meat! Unfortunately that hasn't changed! I couldn't fault that there prices where decent, wasn't a long wait and decent potion size as had split into two meals! Altho the sauce was bland and tasteless, the meat tasted like cheap watered meat and has lots of water that went into the rice making a very watery dish! As I had the offer I got alot of food for almost Nothing but full price I'd never choose here again as I feel it wouldn't be quality value for money!
We live local to this takeaway and we’ve had the odd meal which hasn’t met their normal standards, however, the food is normally really nice. Today we didn’t even get to eat the food. When we ordered, the wait time was an hour, which is fine. It’s Saturday night and we’re in the lockdown. An hour and a half after placing our order my husband called to see where the order was and was told it would be another 20 mins. We said we could go ahead with the order and wait but asked what the delay was. The guy on the end of the phone was incredibly rude to my husband, shouting at him. In response my husband asked for the order to be cancelled (not my husband’s go to response he’s the calm and collected one out of the 2 of us). The story changed to that the order had been ready for a while but they were short of drivers and had a build up of 40 orders and was told to go and collect it (which we’re unable to do due to self isolation) or wait for it to be made very contradictory. The phone went silent and when my husband asked for confirmation of cancellation and refund he was hung up on. What a shame. We don’t spend a lot there, probably a couple of hundred pounds a year but we won’t be ordering again. Late food we can take. Rudeness, we absolutely won’t. What was an enquiry turned out so badly because of terrible customer service and that’s inexcusable.
This was the worst food I have ever had. The curry was so greasy that I sent it back. When they brought it out again, the lamb was spoiled and made everyone who ate it sick. I called to complain and was told I would receive a full refund, but I have yet to receive it. When I followed up on the refund, they only offered me five pounds.
Saturday evening My husband said was the best vegetarian jalfrezi he’d had, quick delivery, tasty and spot on
