Contribuiți la feedbackI placed an order for my family yesterday through Just Eat. I placed my order at around 4pm and requested delivery for 9pm. However, I received a message at 8:35pm saying that my order had been cancelled.
We ordered 2 mixed kebab starters, but found that the lamb was tough and the chicken was dry. The samosa was missing, and the onion bhaji was greasy. The main dishes were also disappointing. The mixed Madras had tough lamb and prawns that were very small. The sauce was too spicy. My wife couldn't eat the Anika special due to tough lamb and clumps of mince. We didn't receive the free chicken tikka, but we weren't too upset about it. Unfortunately, after eating the meal, we both had to urgently use the restroom. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
I recently had one of the best curries I've ever tasted at this restaurant. While I have been put off by the long delivery times in the past, I understand that things may be slower during the lockdown. The food arrived a bit late but was still warm. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Tikka Samber, both of which were full of flavor and had plenty of meat. My son ordered the Anika Special Mix on kebab, which was also delicious and highly recommended. I appreciate that the restaurant is still operating during this difficult time without cutting corners. I am looking forward to trying more dishes in the future.
I ordered my meal on line at around 1530 hours and paid in full, I was given the delivery time of 1750 hours. I didnt get the normal text advising me my meal was on the way. So contacted Just Eat who informed me my meal had been cancelled by the Anika resturant. I get the feeling that Just Eat didnt place the order on time to allow the Anika time to prepare my meal so just Cancelled. so a very poor performance all,l round. Never again !!!
Ordered 2 meals, and starters via the takeaway delivery option. Took well over an hour to arrive. Could only compare it to a supermarket boxed set meal for two you can purchase for approx £6 to £7. No hint of spices, and watery gravy like sauce. Cost £20 and virtually none of it was actually ate. Read the review on TripAdvisor prior to ordering, which rated it as 3.3 out of 5. Despite this low rating, decided to try it for ourselves and make our own judgement. Should have stuck with my gut reaction on reading the reviews, and given it a miss. It's a shame, because it's right on the doorstep for us, but we won't be using it again.
