Pizza Togo - Wiesbaden

Over 40 years Pizza Togo was our main spot for getting delicious pizza and the prices were stable for a long time. The friendly chef who managed the spot all the time retired some months ago and Pizza Togo has now a new owner. Since the old owner left we had pizza two times and they never were as tasty as these before. No good toppings and the prices for every item went up 1,- €. If the new owner would have taken over the style from the pre-owner we still would order pizza. But we now will search for another spot.Btw - when I first picked up my order at Pizza Togo lead by the new owner I was surprised that the pre-owner had retired. I told that to a guy in front of store and he told me, that the new owner has bad attitude, no friggin' idea how to run a business and you never can compare him to the pre-owner.It would be no surprise for me if the Pizzeria will be run down in the nearest future.

Been around since 1965. Mostly a pick-up and go shop. No parking in front. Limited menu. What they serve....is simply great old fashioned pizza for a decent price. Normal pizzas will run 5 Euro....larger about 7.50 to 8 Euro. Salad is on the menu....fresh and well-made. I would suggest parking down about 150 meters (into the city on the main street). Also on the pepperoni pizza....it's spiced up and 'hot' so don't go and expect a mild style. I would rate it among the five best pizza operations in Wiesbaden.

This tiny little place smells fabulous but. I didn't have any euro on me and unfortunately they didn't take credit cards.

Qualitatiw and taste better than elsewhere and even cheaper. pizza according to Italian type. teig thin yet crispy and not hard or dry as so often with thin pizzas. arancini were also delicious. very clear recommendation from me.

At the cousin I invited in the evening to buy four small pizzas again. pizza funghi pizza margherita pizza quattro formaggi and calzone, while we set up the table covered and the drinks and glasses, the excellent pizzas were baked a few hundred meters further quite fast. for when we had covered the table, we could wait there for 10 minutes and then it was brought by a very friendly driver. I paid thirty euro with two euro drinking money for four medium pizzas. we were very happy.
