Lokal Pergola - Wien

We were in the Zeitgeist and after the arrival we ordered the Zeitgeistburger. It was really amazing. The quality was good, but the portions were a little big for us. The adjacent bar was pretty busy and it was nice to sit and watch. The drinks were also good, although a little expensive.

After a full day walk we just want to sit and have dinner... it worked mainly because it was close to our hotel, but despite convenient and the food was fine, it was a little overprice compared to all other restaurants that we...went.

Our tour group stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is located, and we decided to try it because the weather was so cold and windy. What a pleasure to find such a wonderful restaurant right in the hotel! The Classic Goulash...Soup was excellent and the Wiener Escalope by Pork was delicious!! Our waiter was so nice and helpful, even in teaching us a German word. The whole experience was wonderful!

I was in a hurry looking for a place with Vegi option. Pergola offered some basics (Salat, Sup, Vegi Burger) but I decided to try a seasonal dish pumpkin risotto. It turned out to be a great choice, it was delicious, fresh and...nicely served. Service was also great. Space misses some unique atmosphere, but still worth a visit.

Evening bar staff might be anti-American? So rude to us, while providing better service to non-English speakers around us on an overall quiet night. We are staying in the hotel, which is nice, but honestly wished we were not after that experience.
