Nice food, unique and cozy terrace.

We saw Brugman on the Michelin guide and decided to check it out for something unique to do. Overall we left the experience feeling okay . The food was good, the wine guy was very personable and the food was well presented with good flavors. The main downside for us was that this was the only restaurant we went to in Brussels where no one spoke English. Looking and listening around, it seems like everyone who spoke French had a great time, with their servers spending a lot of time at each table explaining the dishes. Our server didn 't speak English and don 't think anyone else did which when combined with a french only menu meant we had no idea what we were eating which is the point of a restaurant like this. To be fair, it didn 't make it a bad experience, it just wasn 't the amazing experience we expected at this price point. Tldr; if you speak French, I bet you 'll have an amazing time. If you 're an English only speaker, check out somewhere else.

Great restaurant, customer service is superb. We booked our civil wedding reception here and could not thank them enough. They were very cooperative and made an effort that we maintain exclusivity despite how busy the restaurant was that night. We were able to use the terrace for champagne and aperitif, the staircase and upper bar were also a good for photos. The menu and the ambience are worth more than the price, I was hoping to give extra more for tip but they only accept cash for service tips. I am truly satisfied and would really recommend the restaurant.
