This restaurant is operated by Rio Tinto and managed by Sodexo, offering a buffet style with steaks cooked to order. It primarily serves FIFO mine workers who supervise the Lambert Mine. Non-guests can dine here for a fee, but they mainly come for the rare seafood available in the evenings. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it, as the food quality is not the best.

Breakfast and crib is good. Dinner could be better.

Some of the accomodation is at least a 500m walk, 800m in some cases, they say there is a shuttle bus but I've yet to see it. There is a woolworths nearby, although crimes were committed while I was there.

Vienna Food Theme tonight. Was good. Selection and quality of the veg was great. All the meat was very average. Pork chicken schnitzel were dry and like cardboard. Sausages were rubber and the fore qauter chops must have come from an old boot. Chocolate sponge cake was yummy for desert. Needed me chocolate sauce, was little dry.START SERVING CREAM WITH DESSERT. Not everyone likes custard. Also do a rice pudding one in a while. Something different. It's so easy to make.
