Promise Thai Cusine - Wichita

This is truly one of my top three favorite restaurants in Wichita. It's family-owned, offers authentic cuisine, and is clean and friendly with generous portions served made to order. The Pad Thai at level 4 is wonderfully spicy, while level 5 is for those who really enjoy the heat. The curries are fantastic, featuring plenty of fresh Thai basil in most dishes—so delicious! The red curry seems to be the spiciest. The Pad Thai is exceptional too. The lunch and dinner specials provide great value, with flavor bursting from every dish. It's a nice spot to dine in or grab takeout.

I was the only customer at 4 PM, but my pad thai was made fresh to order. It was perfectly sweet and spicy, just as I had requested, and beautifully layered with fresh-cut green onions, crunchy peanuts, and crispy bean sprouts. The classic Christmas songs sung by children created an interesting backdrop, clashing with the lively chatter of an Asian family that arrived during my meal. However, it complemented my delicious Thai iced coffee dessert quite well. After finishing my meal and feeling grateful for such a robust and flavorful experience in a cozy setting, the gentleman who served me presented me with a full-size Toblerone alongside my bill. It brought back memories of my dad, who lives overseas and with whom I haven’t spent Christmas in many years.

One of my favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Excellent Yellow Curry. I'll be back to try different dishes.

The food was so good, and the owners were sweet and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend it.
