Contribuiți la feedbackI have been to the west-side location twice now, and have been impressed with the quality of both the food and service. The facility was clean and very comfortable with nice atmosphere. I'm prefer real sushi, so not big on rolls; however they do have some that peaked my interest and taste. The sashimi portions were above average, and very fresh, especially for Wichita. The only downside was they do not have quail egg, and like every other sushi restaurant in Wichita, no uni. I have to put it in with my top three places in Wichita. Kudos
Food: I think it was good. Everything came out on time and at a good temperature. The fish taste fresh and was well appointed. By far the best sushi I have had so far! Service: The robot was fun. Service was fine. Ambiance: Casual and chill. Good temperature inside and I love the color of the walls. It felt like I was on vacation.
Don't knock it until you try it. Salmon skin salad is so good here. Perfect blend of marinated salmon skin and crispy vegetables with ginger dressing.
A GREAT sushi restaurant in Wichita, KS. They have the same owners as bluefin who also have the perfect rice to sushi ratio as well as fresh sashimi. The tempura is always fried to perfection. The restaurant is always a very clean and friendly atmosphere with a robot deliver as well.
Not sure where to even begin. Service: In an almost empty restaurant, our waitress found time to clean up tables, fold napkins, disappear and chat with the other waitress. All during the time she could have checked on our drinks, ask about our food or ask if we are ready for the check. Food: Salad dressing was disgusting. I ate a bit, co worker took a wiff and passed on it entirely. Ninza Roll No way the albacore was fresh. Took a bite and spit it out. Gross roll for $18. Co worker had one of the 4 rolls and we were done. So 3/4 still on the plate. Waitress didn 't bother asking why. Baked Lobster Roll Should have been baked as noted, came out barely warm. We left 1/4 on the plate after plowing through most of it. Dragon Roll Eel was ice cold, should always be served warm with a nice coat of eel sauce on top. Combo Platers Worse than most AYCE places. Overall: I am lost on the rating for this place. Seems they do a lot of carry out business; I am still at a loss. Have eaten at over 100 sushi places across the US; probably close to 200 if I did an actual count. This place is at the bottom 5 of all time. Not only is the sushi not fresh, the rice is hard a rock, unlike any sushi rice I have had anywhere. Even the AYCE places that I have ventured into, most still outshine this place. Maybe it was an offnight during the week, but this must have been a WAY OFF night.
