A J's Music Room - Wichita

I recently tried the Chicken Alfredo with sides for $7.99 and I must say, it was quite an experience. After enjoying Taco Tuesday, I decided to return and sample the chicken Alfredo. I arrived shortly after five o'clock, and the staff informed me that the cook would be back in 15 minutes. I wasn't in a rush, so that was perfectly fine. I ordered a well drink special and placed my meal order. The bar staff kept me updated throughout the process. Now for the highlights: the Alfredo sauce had a lovely flavor – not too spicy or salty at all. There were several pieces of chicken mixed in with the noodles; while some chicken pieces might have been slightly overcooked, they were still very enjoyable. Personally, I'd take a little overcooked or undercooked chicken any day. I expected more than just fettuccine Alfredo and two small pieces of bread, although I wasn't sure what exactly to anticipate. To be honest, the fettuccine noodles were more like spaghetti, but I don't mind – pasta is pasta, especially unless it's made from scratch. The portion size was pretty much what I expected—neither too small nor overly large. A side of something, maybe a house salad, would have been nice, though that's not typically seen as bar food. In my opinion, the tacos were better than the pasta, but the Chicken Alfredo was still good enough that I plan to return. Speaking of tacos, I had to check out the Taco Tuesday event. This place offers fried flour beef tacos for just a dollar each, and they did not disappoint! They were served hot and packed with generous portions of meat and filling, with taco sauce that had a pleasant flavor without being overwhelming. Though I initially came just for Taco Tuesday, I'm definitely coming back to explore the rest of their menu. If everything else is half as good as the tacos, I’ll be more than satisfied. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff and the patrons were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly, and the karaoke was excellent. The DJ did an outstanding job of entertaining the crowd as well. The bartender was extremely pleasant. It wasn't too noisy, so we could sit down and enjoy a drink while taking in the karaoke. The atmosphere was really nice.

I visited A&J for the first time last night, and it was also my first experience with karaoke. The venue is a bit small, but that didn’t take away from the fun. My date loves this place, which added to the experience. Another couple joined us, and we had a fantastic time together. I hope we'll meet up with them again the next time Kathy and I are back. A big thank you to the staff for their great service!

Wow what a delicious steak dinner at such a amazing price! We were more than impressed with our meal and service. The wait staff is attentive, fun yet still professional and provided great service and they were extremely busy! My steak was cooked perfect and the flavor exceptional. This place is a must try for their Thursday night steaks special.....or any night!

A J's Music Room was on our list of places to try and they didn't disappoint! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a blast that we have already been there twice for date night! The first time we had tried the steak which was recommended by one of the staff.....yummy ???? the second time we had fish and chips...also yummy ????
