Contribuiți la feedback**Pros:** The artwork on the walls is stunning and available for purchase. The meal I had was enjoyable, although I wish the portions were larger. The customer service was excellent, and they offer wine and drink specials on Fridays for those interested. I also appreciated the military discount—definitely a plus! **Cons:** I didn't give it a perfect score because while the cupcakes were cute, they unfortunately fell apart and lacked moisture. Additionally, there was a singer performing, and it was a bit too loud for my liking, which made it difficult to have a conversation with my group. Overall, I would definitely return and try something different!
Our server was prompt and friendly, asking if we wanted our dishes to come out as they were ready, which was a great idea because it helped space everything out nicely. Here's how our appetizer course went: - **Pork Belly Skewers (3/5):** We enjoyed the idea of having pork belly on a stick, but I found the flavor a bit lacking. There were six pieces, and while they were decent, I expected more flavor or spice. They were topped with fresh cilantro. - **Buffalo Cauliflower (3/5):** I’m a big fan of cauliflower, prepared in any way, so I was excited to try this. It was good, but nothing blew me away. The roasted cauliflower was coated in buffalo sauce, sprinkled with blue cheese, and topped with scallions. - **French Fries (5/5):** Surprisingly, our favorite part turned out to be the French fries! The portion was much larger than we expected, featuring thin, shoe-string-like potatoes seasoned with light sea salt and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. They were perfectly cooked. I had finally remembered to request fries, and while I prefer mine well done (thanks to Nadine), my husband likes his just shy of that, so this plate was great because it had both styles. After indulging in all that saltiness, we had to try a cupcake. - **Cupcake (4/5):** I was already set on getting the Death by Chocolate, and I didn’t need any convincing. The cake was super moist, fresh, and rich in chocolate flavor. However, as always, the frosting was excessively sweet. I could have been happy with just a quarter of the frosting, yet somehow it all found its way to our stomachs. We both agreed that the cupcake was very good overall, though less frosting—or less sweet frosting—would have made it outstanding. In the end, Ganache is a lovely spot to catch up with friends for a girls' night out or to take the family for lunch or dinner, as it is kid-friendly. I noticed about seven different cupcake flavors and a nice selection of wines and draft and bottled beers. While nothing particularly wowed us, we enjoyed our visit and appreciated that they offer a military discount. I would rate it between 3 and 3.5 stars.
The service was outstanding! The shrimp mac and cheese was a bit lacking in shrimp, but the wine selection made up for it. I highly recommend trying the gluten and sugar-free cupcake—it's a must!
Ganache is not your typical bakery! Not only do they serve cupcakes and specialty cakes they serve Lunch and dinner as well. The interesting part that makes this place stand out in town compared to other bakeries is that they also have a upscale wine and draft list! The wine list and draft list is also accompanied by a food and cupcake pairing. The atmosphere is trendy and warm! Ganache is a great place for date night or a girls night out! This is the second time I have visited Ganache! The first was for lunch with friends and this time was for cupcakes to go! Their cupcakes are by far the best in town! Even after being set out till closing the freshness is on point! I had the meatloaf for lunch which was pretty good! (I am not a meatloaf fan but they said it was their most popular dish).Their menu is small but they include Chef's Specials every week and the items they do have they know how to prepare them well! I have tried the Wedding Cake, Vanilla, and Chocolate Cupcakes all delicious! I have a nut allergy and have never had an issue eating here! When going to larger bakeries like Market Street or Sam's I typically have to be very careful. So that's a plus that I can enjoy a cupcake with no worries of an allergic reaction. Now the reason I gave it a 4. They need more employees and if you are on an hour lunch break, don't bother coming in. While the everything else is on point the service is decent (being there is only 1 server who is taking orders refilling drinks and working the register at once). Due to how busy they get they should invest in more employees! I believe their productivity would increase leaving it possible to be there on your lunch hour and decrease the stress level of their one server!
This is a nice place to catch up with a friend. We had the red velvet, Hostess cupcake (chocolate with marshmallow filling and chocolate ganache , a glass of milk, and a cup of French press coffee. Those items were all good, and service was fine. The French press coffee was really great to go with the sweet Hostess cupcake. Cupcakes are DEFINITELY on the small side here considering they are $3.25 each. Depending on which flavor it is, there isn 't even a muffin top, and the muffin might not even protrude from the wrapper because it 's so small. According to my amiga, they 've found a niche as the only cupcake joint in town and thereby can charge an arm and a leg. For the more parsimonious crowd, Tuesdays are BOGO cupcake days. She recommends you get there sooner than later as they close by dinner and are down to boring flavors like vanilla. Also important to note! They do a military discount, which is always a thumbs up! I haven 't had their real food yet, but the combos look fun where your cupcake comes on the same plate as your real food as part of your meal, just as dessert always should. :
