About Thyme Cafe - Wichita Falls

Wow, what a gem of a restaurant! We arrived just in time, right before the lunch rush, which allowed the staff to share details about their unique 'Weird Wednesday' menu items that were both unusual and delicious! We tried the Grilled Watermelon Salad and the Shrimp Grits accompanied by Fried Avocado Wedges, and for dessert, we indulged in Angel Food French Fries. Other diners mentioned they come here specifically for the Avocado Wedges and the Tomato Basil Soup. A fantastic place!

I dined here for the first time around two weeks ago. My husband ordered the grilled watermelon and salmon salad, and it was perfectly prepared! The salmon was delicious—cooked just right without being overdone. I chose the BLT with rosemary fries, and I enjoyed every bite. We capped off our meal by sharing a bacon salted caramel brownie, which was delightful! – Anna Simpson

I also encountered some problems with the jasmine rice balls. They were unique, tasty, and well-prepared, but the sauce served alongside them was disappointing—just a simple soy/hoisin blend. I believe there’s a great opportunity for a more creative sauce that could enhance the innovative rice balls. Lastly, I want to comment on the window tinting on the restaurant's exterior. The dark black tint made the place look completely empty and uninviting, which is unfortunate because the interior was lively and welcoming. It would be wonderful to allow people passing by to see how interesting and enjoyable it is inside. That said, they are definitely offering something different from most restaurants in the area, and I would gladly return to explore more of their menu!

The chicken spaghetti was incredible, and the strawberry shortcake was equally delicious. The service was exceptional too.

We ordered cupcakes to be delivered to the base for our son's birthday. They arrived right on time, and we even received pictures and a video so we could see him enjoying them. Thank you very much for the excellent service!
